About Dave Fondiller

I advise leadership teams on internal and executive communications, drawing on experience across professional services, financial institutions, and publishing.

My work focuses on helping leaders communicate clearly in complex environments—where priorities compete, organizations are evolving, and clarity is critical. I bring a combination of strategic perspective and hands-on execution, working directly with senior leaders to shape messaging, support major initiatives, and strengthen internal communication.

Over the course of my career, I have held senior communications roles at:

  • Boston Consulting Group (BCG)

  • Harvard Business Review

  • Marsh (formerly Marsh McLennan)

  • Capgemini Engineering

  • frog

  • Marakon

  • Merrill Lynch

Earlier in my career, I worked as a journalist, including at Forbes, an experience that continues to inform my approach to clarity, structure, and sound editorial judgment.

In these corporate roles, I worked closely with leadership teams on a range of communications challenges, including leadership transitions, organizational change, strategic initiatives, and efforts to strengthen alignment and engagement.

Today, I work with clients through targeted advisory engagements or in embedded roles, depending on the situation. My approach is practical and focused—grounded in what works in real organizations, not theory. I bring an independent perspective, sound judgment, and a clear editorial sensibility to leadership communications.

I’m based in the New York City area.
